Membership Services Conference 2025
Membership Services Conference is back again for 2025 on 13 and 14 August. This is the conference for staff working in clubs and societies, advice, student reps, democracy, governance, campaigning – anything within membership services and the delivery and management of those services.

Wednesday - day one
Here's your running order for each day of the conference:
- Registration / breakfast - 08:00
- Welcome speech - 09:15 - 09:30

Thursday - day two

Things you need to know

Manchester has obviously got loads of great places you can stay, but to make life easy for you, there's a Premier Inn just a 10 minute walk from The Union and the Hyatt Regency which is a three minute walk from our building.
Oxford Road station is nearest to The Union building which is about a 13 minute walk away. Manchester Piccadilly station is approx a 20 minute walk but you could also nip on the 101 or 103 bus from Piccadilly Gardens (stop N) which takes about 15 minutes.
Our closest car parks are the Aquatics Centre (£12 per 24 hours and located on Booth St E, Manchester M13 9SS) or Booth Street West Car Park (£16.50 for 24 hours and located on Higher Chatham St, Manchester M15 6AR)
There'll be a dedicated registration desk in The Union's reception with staff ready to welcome you as you arrive.
The evening entertainment is Karaoke, starting at 21:00 at the end of day one. The bar will be open from 21:00 and close at 01:00.
If you have any allergies, please remember to bring your medication with you and make yourself known to staff when meals are being served.
